Return & exchanges
Purchasing jewellery online can sometimes require adjustments. If your piece does not fully meet your expectations, we offer simple solutions for returning or exchanging it.
WHITEbIRD is committed to providing high-quality jewellery. However, if you wish to return an item, you may choose between an exchange or a refund.
Items may be returned within 14 days of receiving your order (28 days for orders delivered to the USA).
During the holiday season, returns are extended until January 5th.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
However, for exchanges, we offer free shipping on the new item within the European Union.
Please note that for returns from the UK or the USA, VAT and duties will not be refunded.
Refunds are issued using the original payment method.
Please allow up to 15 days from the receipt of your return for the refund to be processed.
WHITEbIRD reserves the right to deduct any bank fees or payment-related commissions.
Return conditions
To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:
- Jewellery must be unworn, in perfect condition, and returned in its original packaging
- The item must not have been specially ordered
Non-returnable items
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Personalised jewellery (engraving or resizing)
- Made-to-order jewellery
- Gift cards
- Sale items
- Second-hand pieces
If a ring has already been resized and the size does not fit, a second resizing is possible at the customer’s expense (starting from €50, depending on the model).

Alternatively, returns can be dropped off in our boutiques:
Monday: 2pm – 6pm
Tuesday to Friday: 11am – 6pm
Items returned without prior notice will not be accepted.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt.
If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible so we can resolve the issue.
European Union – 14-day cooling-off period
If your order is shipped within the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, without providing any reason.
The return conditions outlined above apply.
