Originally from Canada, Alice Waese moved to New York after studying art and fashion. Passionate about fashion, drawing, sculpture and materials such as gold and silver, she designs jewellery pieces as well as clothes. Inspired by the wonders offered by nature and her abundant imagination, her jewels reflect the poetic and surreal world of a complete artist. Adorned with emeralds, grey and black diamonds or keshi pearls, her jewels are precious miniature sculptures. Her sense of audacity and ambition have earned her praise in the greatest international magazines such as Vogue, Le Monde and the New York Times.

Alice Waese

Passionate about sculpture, painting and materials, Alice Waese approaches jewellery as an instinctive gesture, almost like a small act of creation. Born in Canada and trained between New York and London, she first explored fashion, textiles and fine art before discovering jewellery through tiny sculptures cast in gold and silver. In her studio, she sculpts wax by hand as one would drape fabric, intentionally keeping the edges soft and open to preserve the authenticity of the gesture. Guided by intuition, silence and imagination, her process gives life to organic pieces where precious metal meets raw, honest texture. Inspired by nature, poetry, travel and the artists she admires, Alice creates out of necessity — a creative impulse she has carried since childhood. Each piece holds emotion and energy, becoming an intimate, wearable sculpture shaped by the person who wears it.
