DAY 1
As we land in Fortaleza airport, we exit and the hot wind is like a soft touch on our faces. We then travel by car on a highway along patches of wild nature and as we get closer to Fortim strips of sand. We arrive to the nordeste beaches where the local wind the alyzé is blowing relentlessly. The next morning the heat wakes me up early and I walk around barefoot in the village. I walk to the beach nearby and take in the light as it reflects brightly on the waves of the ocean. This is a favourite spot of kite surfing and you can feel the gusting wind.

DAY 2
I wander in the water enjoying the high tide and watching the surfers swiftly gliding on the ocean. The sun is high in the sky so I quickly look for shade under a palm tree.

DAY 3
Reconnecting with nature in a setting unchanged by time, where the saturated colours of tropical fruit contrast with the delicate hues of the sand and the slowness of time. At noon the white light will daze all things.

DAY 4
The heat will take me down for a deep siesta and when I open my eyes I can see the golden glow of the afternoon sun illuminate my skin. Days are short before I know it the light is gone... It's the perfect time to go for a walk.

DAY 5
The sun sets down on our wooden cabana, the breeze is still hissing, the tide is high it’s time to refresh my scorched skin and gently sway in the hamac. Simplicity.
